Doesn’t fit Canon 5D Mk IV I couldn’t find much up to date info about compatibility for this item with the Canon 5D mk iv so I gave it a go but it doesn’t fit. I haven’t marked it down as the item works well and is keenly priced but hopefully this review will save others the effort.NB I haven’t bought the original Canon model compatible with the current 5D as its more than twice as expensive, which is ridiculous

Definitely recommend For those of you who have wondered if this works with the Canon 200D it does. It’s simple to use and doesn’t take up a great deal of space in your bag. Focus and either shoot or slide the switch forward for longer exposures. Just a tip if you are unsure if this will work with your Canon camera just check the specification of the remote in the user manual for your camera as I did and it will tell you. Excellent addition to my kit I had been looking for a remote/cable release to use with my 600d on a tripod shooting at night and in low light where I would need to use longer exposure times/bulb setting (for exposures over 30s). This replicates the function of the camera’s shutter button, but eliminates/reduces camera shake caused by putting pressure on the shutter button and camera body itself.
