The Canon ST-E3-RT Speedlite Controller This is a fantastic piece of kit and a must-have for anyone serious about flash photography. Since buying it last month i haven’t missed a single shot over hundreds of photographs, and have no more concerns about where the flash is placed or if it has line of sight. Works well but way too expensive This is a great wee unit but I found it to be terrible value for money. For only £30 more, you can buy the Canon 430 EX III RT, which does basically everything this does (including acting as an RF master) with the addition of working as a flash unit. I decided to return this and buy an extra flash unit instead – with the current Canon cash back offer the flash is actually £30 cheaper than this trigger!
