Still the best superzoom for Canon users Firstly, a short story. This lens and I have a chequered history: since it first went on sale in 2008 I’ve owned 4 of them! A great multi-purpose lens This lens was purchased for one reason … travelling. If I’m out for the day, specifically to take photographs, then this lens won’t be with me. Great little lens! A friend had one of these and reccommended it to me! Glad he did! This is a compact multi purpose lightweight lens, it goes with my cropped sensor SLR giving me the equivalent of a 29 – 320 zoom! Unless you need to go to extremes, this is a one lens fits all product, and as keeping the weight factor down, is important to me, it’s ideal!
