Utter tosh, don’t go near them, even new they don’t work with electronic devices, like plasitic straws they are pointless Don’t buy these!!Yes they are a little cheaper than other comparable memory cards by a few pence or pounds – however don’t expect to ever be able to retrieve any data copied to them. I received 2x64gb cards for a new DSLR camera – you can format the cards, take some pictures, then test it on your computer…. hours later after multiple restarts, driver installs etc. and the computer will not acknowledge that there is an SD card in the drive – so return card to camera and try to view…
Write error I started out by running a full test on the card and it seemed ok, but after formatting and using it in my camera, I only managed to take a few shots before it threw up some write errors. I reformatted the card from within the camera, and it then took a few shots successfully but after about 5 more pictures I was getting the write errors again. One more format did not help – a few photos then more write errors, so I returned this card for a refund – luckily a lovely lady at Amazon took care of…
Great value – never had any issues with these cards. I’ve found that there can be a bit of snobbery around SDHC cards, particularly amongst photographers and videographers. Some will only buy the truly “professional” cards which cost many many times more. If you’re a top professional on an expensive shoot – then yes, absolutely, go for it. However, I’ve now got around 8-10 Integral Ultima Pro cards that I use in my Canon DSLRs (6D and 7DMkII) and I can honestly say that I’ve never had a single issue.
