After much research I am very happy with my choice. I have never had binoculars before and did a lot of research before choosing these ones and I am very happy with my choice. My research told me not to buy above 8x magnification in hand held binoculars or I would have too much visible shake and I’m glad I didn’t because even with the 8x magnification there is some unavoidable shake, but not too much. Although these are small, light binoculars they are, for their size, reasuringly solid and well weighted, the focusing and dioptre wheels move…
Good compact binocs with good magnification I’m very pleased with this purchase – bought for my husband’s birthday to replace an older pair of Nikon Travelite binocs. The magnification is very good and they are very compact and light.
No regrets.. Excellent buy. I had purchased 2 German made pairs of binoculars one for my husband and myself. However I found them to heavy 8 x 42. Having returned them I opted for a lighter pair and easier for me to handle. These when first used were a surprise, clear view easy to focus according to your eyes. I don’t regret sending back a bigger slightly more expensive pair and opting for these. Husband was happy with the original purchase but to be honest I think mine the Nikon travelite are much better…
