It does mostly what it says on the card. When it said it was “elite performance” I thought it was another one of those normal SDHC cards, but it does what it says. It is ELITE PERFORMANCE !! I compared it with my previous 32GB SDHC which supposed to be fast but this one proved me wrong. It is recommended to anyone doing a form of photography or high quality (1080p/maybe 4K) filming. If you do or got a new camera that films in 4K a larger SDHC, 64GB or more if you can get a bigger storage capacity.
It works quick! The card is rapid in my SLT camera by Sony I can shoot burst for a long time. But its not that that I see the improvement it its after the burst, the time it takes for the camera to write to the memory card. I probably see 3 seconds difference which is a lot!
Avoid This was bought as a gift to complement my wife’s new 4k camera. When inserted message came up that card was too slow. I replaced with Class 10 card from another manufacturer – no problems now. Where this PNY came from is anybody’s guess! Avoid!
