Good mic and sound quality but not for run and gun style shooting Waring something a lot go reviews never told me, or Sony either. This Mic is really good quality yes and works with my Sony AX100 however the Mic has really bad handling noise. If you use a tripod all the time then its fine, but stick this on the Sony L shape bracket and shoot hand held and the mic miss up the slightest noise your hand makes. Its easier to be still on short shoots where you are just doing bursts of clips but shoot for long periods of time and you will struggle now to get the…

Sony XLR adaptor for A7s Works perfectly – it’s pricey but unlocks the potential of the a7s to record high quality sound. It would be good if the unit was made in such a way as to give you the choice of connecting it to the camera directly via the hot shoe mount or via the cable. Am very glad I bought it.
